Social Media & Marketing Intern
Meagan is a junior Marketing major at the University of Texas. In the Fall of 2018, she completed the McCombs BBA Exchange Program in Milan, Italy and developed a growing interest in environmental impact due to its prevalence in the country’s culture. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, she has an instilled appreciation for its unique wildlife and scenery – a quality that goes with her to see the beauties of other places. Because of this, she values traveling in every sense, whether it’s a night at Pace Bend or on an airplane hundreds of miles away. In other spare time, she enjoys river tubing, photography, and window shopping.
Kennedy is finishing up her B.S. in Biology at the University of Texas, completing the requirements for the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior option in Fall 2018. In addition to being an avid birdwatcher, she spent dozens of hours in the field as part of her coursework at UT, honing taxon-specific identification skills. She is passionate about biodiversity preservation, habitat restoration, and hopes to pursue a career in conservation or wildlife biology. In her free time, Kennedy enjoys hiking, birding, and “herping” (observation of reptiles and amphibians), as well as wildlife photography and painting.
Daniella is currently a student at Texas State University, completing a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies. For the past 10 years she has been working in Business Administration for various industries. In 2017, Daniella decided to go back to school to seek a green career path that would align with her passion and values towards conservation. She is excited to intern at Texan by Nature to gain knowledge and experience in bridging business with conservation. In Daniella’s free time, she is usually out on the water paddle boarding, hiking the Greenbelt with her dog Rex, travelling to cities integrated with the great outdoors and volunteering with various organizations around Austin.
